Return & Replacement Policy

Summary

Igneous Salt accepts returns or replacements for any product that arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect. Because salt is a food product, unopened condition and safety standards determine what can be returned.

Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns or replacements under the following conditions:

  • Damaged in transit Packaging crushed, punctured, torn, or otherwise compromised upon arrival.

  • Incorrect item received Wrong SKU, wrong size, or wrong quantity.

  • Product defect Seal failure, contamination risk, or any manufacturing anomaly.

  • Lost shipments Orders marked delivered but not received (after carrier investigation).

Non‑Returnable Items

Because Igneous Salt is a food product, the following cannot be returned:

  • Opened or partially used salt

  • Items without original packaging

  • Products purchased from third‑party retailers (handled by that retailer)

  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

  • Clearance or promotional items marked “final sale”

Replacement or Refund Options

If your return is approved, you may choose:

  • Replacement — same SKU shipped at no cost

  • Refund — issued to the original payment method

  • Store credit — applied to your Igneous Salt account

Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days after approval.

How to Start a Return

Email: support@igneoussalt.com wiwith:

  • Order number

  • Photo of the issue (if applicable)

  • Preferred resolution (replacement, refund, or store credit)

Our team responds within 24–48 hours.

Shipping Costs

  • If the issue is our responsibility (damage, defect, incorrect item), Igneous covers all shipping.

  • If the return is customer‑initiated (e.g., ordered the wrong item), the customer covers return shipping.

Retail & Wholesale Partners

Retailers should report issues through their Igneous account manager. Wholesale returns follow contract terms and may differ from Direct to Consumer policy.

Igneous Salt may update this policy as needed to maintain compliance and operational clarity. The most current version will always be published on our website.
